È stata assegnata al Comune di Parma la prestigiosa "Spiga Verde" da parte della Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) e di Confagricoltura, riconoscimento nazionale che premia i comuni italiani impegnati nello sviluppo rurale sostenibile, nella tutela ambientale e nella valorizzazione delle produzioni agricole di qualità. A ritirare il riconoscimento per la città Paolo Zoni, Delegato del Sindaco alle Politiche Agricole.
